Oh yes, my first blog..and i promise you i will not be boring..I just named my blog "Smile - the most precious jewel" and i have always wondered as to why i have always been admiring this 5-letter beauty. The other day, when i was on my way to office..i was in a very bad mood..early morning, and if you still feel sleepy and you have in your mind that you have a busy schedule at the office today..what else do you expect? but then, i met a small kid..a very innocent face..he came in front of me and asked me for a pack of biscuits..i did not want to ignore the kid..but, it took me by surprise when the little one told me that it was not for him but for his little puppy..i turned in the direction the kid was looking at and saw the puppy staring at us from the other side of the road..i quickly walked to a bakery nearby and came back with a couple of biscuit packs..i handed a biscuit pack to the kid..the 5 yr-old ran to the puppy with the pack in his hand..the puppy got busy with the biscuits..and this brought a kodak moment on that child's face..yes, a smile that would make you forget Mona Lisa for a moment. No, no..it was not me who brought a smile to his face..it was that little puppy..the kid knew where his happiness lies..it was in that puppy..it showed in the kid's eyes that the puppy meant world to him..what these little ones did to me?..they just made me forget my worries for a moment..they made me happy..yes, yes..they made me SMILE..they made my day..by this time i just noticed that the puppy had finished the pack and was staring at the other pack in my hand..with his tongue wagging..as though telling me "hey dude, will you put that pack down too?".
Walking back to office..i turned and looked at them..the puppy was enjoying the second pack..i just visualized if they were angels who just made me smile..who just reminded me of a saying that i had coined myself a few months ago "Life is beautiful when you Smile"
That explains the title "Smile-the most precious jewel"..that morning, the things that were glittering and shining..were not gold valued at 30K per 10g..it were not the expensive diamonds..it was something more precious than these jewels..it were those cute little smiles which pulled me towards them..:)
It made me smile on that day, it made me smile narrating to you..Hope it brings a beautiful smile on your face while reading this too..Yes, its time to do good, its time to be happy, its time to be kind.....its time.....to SMILE..and..to spread SMILES!!!
